Foundation and Early Years

BG Global was founded in 2006 by Mustafa Sert. The company began its commercial activities by importing insect nets from Spain for greenhouses in Antalya. Mustafa Sert's knowledge and experience gained over four years in the heart of greenhouse cultivation in the Netherlands strengthened the company's expertise in the agriculture and greenhouse sectors.

Becoming a Global Supplier

Following his experiences in the Netherlands, BG Global evolved from being merely an importer of agricultural materials to becoming a reliable global supplier. Operating in many countries from the USA to Japan, BG Global has supplied materials to major companies such as:

Turnkey Projects

Since 2012, BG Global has been developing turnkey projects. BG Global B.V., based in the Netherlands, specializes in modern greenhouse projects. Thanks to our office in the Westland region of the Netherlands, we closely follow the latest greenhouse technologies and quickly integrate them into our projects. Our support offices in the Netherlands and Turkey enable us to communicate directly with our clients, providing fast and effective solutions.

We offer services in greenhouse production and operation with expert agricultural engineers and production consultants based in the USA and The Netherlands.

Seed Operations

BG Global has leveraged its expertise in the greenhouse and agriculture sectors to establish a strong position in the seed industry.

The company entered the seed sector by taking on the global distribution of small seed companies. By analyzing market demands and user feedback, BG Global has assessed product performance and customer experiences, gaining direct insight into industry needs.

Between 2020 and 2023, BG Global participated in OYAK-HEKTAŞ F.A.R.M. projects, marking a significant collaboration in the industry.

As of 2023, BG Global is responsible for the global business development, market development, and sales activities of OYAK/HEKTAŞ Seeds.

Strategic Partnerships

In 2010, while supplying materials to Village Farms, Mustafa Sert met with PESA Principal Consultant, one of the world's leading consultancy firms. In 2024, BG Global expanded its strategic partnerships by collaborating with PESA Principal Consultant, enhancing its expertise in greenhouse material supply and turnkey greenhouse projects.
